Who We Work With

Nearing Retirement
Retirement is Sneaking up on Me. Am I Really Prepared? (60’s)
As retirement approaches, it's a time for celebration – you're on the brink of your best years yet. With this milestone, comes the task of getting your financial affairs ready so you can plan for a healthy retirement.
Our financial expertise lies in creating retirement plans that offer you peace of mind and confidence.
If you're turning 71 this year, it's crucial to convert your RRSPs to an RRIF or annuity before year-end. We'll help you understand how the changes in the Federal Budget affect you on an ongoing basis.
Our approach is comprehensive: we consider your retirement lifestyle, business or personal assets, income needs, family's unique requirements, and health to formulate a realistic & healthy plan for your retirement.
A successful financial plan is simply about practicality.
Case Study
Fred and Joy came to Keill & Associates at a time when their kids were just finishing high school. Fred (age 52) worked as a high school teacher and Joy (age 50) worked as an HR manager for a mid-size firm in Ottawa. They realized that retirement was creeping up on them quickly and they needed to know what their retirement was going to look like and what they could do to improve their long-term outcome. Keill and Associates worked alongside Fred and Joy and developed a multi-strategy safe retirement plan to get them into retirement comfortably, pay off the debt, have a healthy retirement and ensure the children’s education was financed.
Over the years the retirement planning needs evolved from pre-retirement to retirement, educating children to having grandchildren, and building wealth to planning for the efficient transfer to the next generation. Keill & Associates continued to evolve their financial strategy over the years and when Fred passed away at age 79, Joy expressed her thank you for having Keill & Associate guide them through their evolving financial lives. Fred and Joy's children have now begun working with Keill & Associates to pay down their mortgage, educate their children, and save for their own safe and healthy retirement.
