  • Since 1992 we have provided clients with financial planning and wealth management services.  We have extensive knowledge and experience throughout our Team to work with families through all of life’s transitions and complexities. Having been in business for over 30 years has allowed us the unique advantage of having worked with clients from birth to university, having couples have children to retirement and the full term of a successful retirement.

  • Our Team is loaded with Financial Professionals who carry many distinct qualifications.  Our Advisory Team consists of Certified Financial Planners (CFP, Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), Financial Management Analysts (FMA), Responsible Investment Advisors (RIA), Dementia Friendly Advisors (DFA), Fellow of The Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), and licensed insurance agents.

  • Yes, prospective clients can ask for references from existing clients or other industry participants who understand our unique and exceptional client offering.

  • Our compensation can vary depending on the service we are providing. We do not charge commissions on the sale of our portfolio services.  Our Advisory Fee uses a sliding scale for investment management services that is based on family household investment assets. Other services such as insurance and GIC deposits provide a commission being paid by the insurance or deposit company. We truly believe in a transparent fee and cost structure, so clients know exactly what they are paying. 

  • Fiscalosophy is our Team’s view on personal financial planning and investment management:  Our Fiscalosophy is centered on five key principles:

    1. Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail. Each client should develop, document, and revisit their goals and the path to that will allow them to achieve them.

    2. Every investor portfolio should match their specific need for return to meet their goals, mitigate risk, and keep costs down.

    3. Financial success occurs when logic triumphs over emotions.  Our goal is to encourage activities that seek this outcome.

    4. When life goes into transition, money goes into motion.   Financial planning should be forward-looking toward each client's upcoming transitions.

    5. The world of financial planning and investments can be confusing and complex. Our role is to break down the complexity so that our clients can make wise financial choices based on historical evidence and common sense.

  • We believe each client is unique and their needs can be quite different. We want to serve our clients and provide timely advice in a way that suits their life. Families are busy. We will meet with clients when they want, where the want, and how they want. We do not believe we should dictate how our clients want to receive advice but rather allow for a frictionless approach to our long-term relationship.

  • IPC Investment Corporation (IPCIC) and IPC Securities Corporation (IPCSC) provides and carries our investment management licenses. Geoff Sgrabossa is licensed as a Financial Advisor with IPCIC and provides advice and financial services with regards to mutual funds and mutual fund portfolios. Jeff Keill is licensed with IPCSC as a Portfolio Manager and provides advice and services around mutual funds, stocks, bonds, ETFs, and discretionary portfolio services.  

  • We do not have any stated or mandated account size limitations per se.  We do not restrict our services based on how much money a client may have as a rule but prefer to limit the number of families based on the following three criteria: a) clients agree with our Fiscolosophy, b) we believe we can truly add value to our clients’ financial lives, and c) clients are open and honest about their financial situation.

  • Yes, we provide clients with on-line access through the website 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The website allows clients to see all the important portfolio details including holdings, valuations, and transactions.

  • Our standards are to meet with the clients at least once a year either by phone, on-line, or in person.   Although we maintain a scheduled approach to our follow up review meetings, the method, and the frequency we meet with clients are truly based on the client’s own needs.  Some need to meet with us more often at various points in their financial lives and some less.
